I completed my coach training with the Co-Active Training Institute in San Rafael, CA, which is widely recognized as the most rigorous program in the industry. I am also a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and completed year-long individual family and parenting skills sessions with University of California’s Hyperactivity and Learning Problems Clinic. I graduated with honors from the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in women’s studies and psychology and spent a semester abroad focusing on women’s studies at the University of New South Wales. I am an elected member of the Phi Eta Sigma and Golden Key International Honor Societies. Most recently, I completed a 200-hour yoga teacher certification through Purusha Yoga School as well as Thai Yoga Therapist certification.

“I interviewed a few other coaches and was put off by how much they talked and how little they listened! Amber really knows how to listen. She has such a patient, grounded, yet totally engaged way of working. She was able to give me all the space I needed to think out loud (which is how I work through problems and dilemmas) and offered just the right amount of inquiry, support and encouragement to keep me chugging along. In my work with Amber, I was able to identify my goals, narrow my focus and generate a ton of cool ideas which I am now plugging away at with great results.” see less…see more…Stephanie Morgan, Therapist, San Francisco, CA

PERSONAL BACKGROUND
I’ve traveled and lived across the globe and my current home is in San Francisco with my husband, daughter, son and Goldendoodle. When I’m not working or shuttling my two teenagers all over San Francisco, I try to breathe deeply as often as possible; explore the city; and hike, bike and practice yoga (even if in short bursts).
